Nadia Gerassimenko is the founding editor of Moonchild Magazine, managing editor at Luna Luna Magazine, and proofreader at Red Raven Book Design. She is a freelancer in editorial services by trade, a poet and writer by choice, a moonchild and nightdreamer by spirit.
Artist Statement
As a visual artist I like to take simple but significant things and amplify their vibrating energy. The heart necklace, given to me by my husband when we were still dating, gave off a verdant energy, and I’ve chosen for that energy to radiate unto other things, like the vase, the background setting, already green things in the background. Green means the color of life and nature, renewal and growth, freshness and harmony. It’s how we feel when we’re in love or experiencing new things, how I felt when my husband and I first started dating. All these emotions and memories and vibrations are being encompassed in this one composition, immortalized forever.
